McLane is a good company to try to get into. Hope your a young because it's young man's work. I would start by looking at CDL school's. From your post it sounds like you don't have your license yet. I could be mistaken. If you have your license then look at their website for openings. If you see a position, apply. Alot of times McLane will advertise for drivers and have entry-level in parentheses. More than likely they will put you with a more experienced driver that can show you the ropes. Sysco is another good food service company to drive for. US Foods, PFG, MBM, Sigma are also in the food service realm. All pay pretty well and have decent to good benefits. McLane is best for 401k. Not sure about pay scale in your area. I'm an east coast guy out of Jersey. Sure their are others that can answer the pay question. Good luck.

Unfortunately you'll have to wait until your 21 to get your CDL. If I was you I would work on getting my CDL. Then you can work on getting your experience. If you can get into the warehouse at McLane, who knows, they may help you get your CDL. At least by working in the warehouse you get your foot in the door. When I worked at Sysco out of Philadelphia they used to help warehouse workers that were interested in doing so get their CDL.
