Rod Larson of NSE has closed the doors of NSE. I have signed up on the pacer.gov web site to check to see when ROD is going to file BK again. I have a copy of Rods last BK filing and his attorneys information. I have talked to an attorney about filing a proof of claim. I will be watching the web site pacer.gov and will let you know when he files and what we need to do.

I went through this years ago, I think the checks I finally got were just enough for a pack of smokes a month, about $2.10. The Company owner divorced his wife, moved out of state, started a brand new truckin company in his new wife's name (that was his 5th wife).
The only thing that can stop these guys is a bullet!

NEWS FLASH. Rod Larson has closed NSE/North and South and reopened as TCP Logistics out of Benbrook, Tx. I called and talked to Rod today and listened to his recruiting scam.

NSE (North and South Express Out of Cedar Rapids, Ia.) Is now TCP Logistics in Benbook, Tx. Rod Larson told me they bought 75% of the company. I worked for NSE for 2 months before TCP bought them. You don't want to sign on here. Rod will tell you anything you want to hear to get you in the door. Then watch out. If TCP want to be a legit company they won't do it with Rod there. I had to fight to get paid with NSE. Fight to get statements. To see if I was getting paid right. It is the worst experience I have ever had in my 36 years of working. When TCP came in I finally started getting Direct deposit and on time, but still no statements. I think Rod is still skimming off the top!

I think your right! Only Rod would lind Rod money and say he is great! Rod never would screw anyone one ! He's a christian! What a joke indeed!

Rod Larson, owner of this scam for a trucking company is a thief, world class crook and a scum of the earth. Pulls GE(General Electric) loads out of Grand Praire. GE pays him for the round trip(out loaded and back empty). Straight out of the two hours it took for "orientation" and all paperwork signed, dude had a load at GE warehouse needed to be picked up ASAP! I get on it. Dude tells me, "you gotta run on your own fuel the first week". Second week "we start giving you advance for fuel". Now I understand why he has the new lessees run on their own fuel the first week, coz everyone quits after the first week. So here I go like the dummy that I am, filled up $700 of my own fuel to run the two stop load, first drop in some deep in the woods southwest Louisiana town 380 miles away, second stop across the state in Monroe. Soon as I'm done unloaded before noon on that Friday in Monroe,LA, I called Rod ready to load up the load dude said I was gonna pick up back to Dallas, paying me more $ on top of the "round trip" pay I was gonna get. Dude tells me to fax him the "signed by receiver" paperwork on the two stop load I just ran ASAP, so he can get paid on it. Upon getting that done, I call Rod again, it's getting to be 2pm and ask him about the reload back to Dallas. I get no response for the next two hours. I call again around 4pm, and leave him a voice message letting him know I'm just gonna deadhead back to Dallas since GE is paying for the "round trip" anyways, like he stated in orientation, GE does on each load. I get a call back from the North and South (NSE) dispatcher telling me that GE just earlier in the day has canceled the "round trip" pay on loads, and that I will only get paid $600 instead of $1200 promised, and that I should stay in the area until Monday for a load because the supposedly load I was gonna pick up in Louisiana back to Dallas had all of a sudden canceled, OR BEST YET, I should deadhead back to Dallas on my own bcoz there are pre-loaded trailers at GE needed to be picked up ASAP for Monday morning delivery in Houston. I tried several times trying to reach Rod Larson and ask him what the heck is going on?? Dude was calling me all morning all the while I was under the load, now that the load is done, dude is nowheres to be found. I called one last time around 4:30 pm and inform dispatch I'm heading back to Dallas, dispatch tells me to take the empty trailer back to GE in Grand Prairie. Around 8pm little man Rod calls me to give me the info. on the next load needed to be picked up at GE. I proceed to let him know I was bringing the empty trailer to GE, and that he can forget about me running another load. I let him know by the time I get back to GE, ill have run over 900miles for the entire round trip. Dude quickly proceeds to inform me that he's NOT going to pay me the $600 much less the $1200 agreed upon prior to me picking up the load I just ran. Dude let's me know, if I don't run another load, that he's gonna mess up my DAQ report and that he can easily do it too. I let him know to proceed with it, and that little shmucks like him don't scare me. Dude starts on a "texting rampage" bcoz of me not picking up another load at GE that he desperately needs moved. Dude sends me around 20 texts explaining that I owe him money for the drug test and orientation expense, decals expense etc. I let dude know to take a minute and reflect what just happened here. I ran the load on my own out of pocket $ for fuel, and that he just stole another $1200 promised in wages for the load. But little Rod doesn't want to hear any of it. He just wants me to pick up the load waiting for me at GE or else. I go ahead and let him know that ain't gonna happen and proceed to give him advice to trek easy on his way of doing business. Next person you screw over Rod, might not be so understanding like yours trully. Me losing $1900 to you Rod, is meaningless to me after a decent 17 year driving career I've enjoyed very much dealing with decent folks the majority of the time. .....REPORT THIS GUY ON ripoffreport.com , glassdoor , and indeed.com review boards now.......NEVER! NEVER! pay an owners fuel ! NEVER!......if you don't take immediate action against these scum-creeps they'll keep on screwin hundreds of other drivers......leave your contact info for other scammed drivers to contact you and file a class action suit against the scum..........if drivers work together these scum-creeps will LOOSE
