My week was this 2200 miles a week is easily obtainable. I managed a 34 hour restart Sunday Monday. Then to Alabama on to Minnesota to Chicago back to Wisconsin to Dinner with the wife Thursday north of Nashville. On to Nashville yesterday up to Louisville and back home yesterday evening by 7pm. I have to be in Alabama Monday and back in Frankfurt ky Tuesday morning.
I do hustle every minute I am out. But I really like it. Dispatch is great to work with so far. I have had a couple small things but we worked them out and forward we went.
I will also say night and weekend dispatchers are amazing. I needed help a couple times in a bad way. They are the people you want on the phone.
Use one of us on here for a referral If you contact h.o wolding if you want. I think there is a experienced driver referral bonus. But if you don't want to that's fine. Either way it's a great company. My brother was trying to get hired by then but they didn't take him. My dad has been driving for 20 years and says h.o is his next job by the way they treat me.
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

Been there 5 months, always above 2200, usually 2500-3000, little more or less sometimes depending.

How often do you need to drive back to Wisconsin to get the truck serviced? Do you get paid for those miles? I am really hoping I get hired at Wolding.... I start school May 18. I do have a dui that's 14 years old but I really hope they overlook that. Since then I have military experience and have had a child who is my priority, and held the same job for 11 years in which i just got laid off from.

You only go there to get the truck serviced I'd have to look on my truck but I think its 20,000 miles between or so. Yes they route you there under load and while there you go to a safety meeting. You schedule it a couple weeks out. Be honest with them from day one and they will be honest with you.

I may have missed it in a previous post but what division are you in, NE or SE Regional, OTR....?
I live in Central NY and would be most interested in NE Regional. -

If I apply, I'll definitely use one of you guys as a referral!! Thanks! You don't by chance know the current pay for 6 months experience do you? When I talked to them coming out of school I think it was .32cpm, so I'm thinking maybe .34 cpm-.36... I like how they have southeast regional too but would probably do otr for my first 6 months there
Chinatown Thanks this. -
It's crazy that this thread is still bouncing around at the top of this forum.
I worked for them in 2013, didn't have a bad experience. Got a local gig to settle some family stuff. Now that it's all set I'm looking into getting back with Wolding. I've got two years of experience now with a spotless record so I'm checking out a few other options, but I really dug Wolding's atmosphere and culture.
The only hang up I had was their equipment. When I was there they were pretty quickly getting new tractors, and I spoke with a recruiter today who told me that with my experience I'd likely be assigned a Cascadia which would be really cool. BUT, they've still got the inverter rule. I know some drivers had them, but it was kinda hush-hush and the shop would only install one if the owner signed off.
If I went back to Wolding I'd want to stay on the road for a month at a time and then a few days off. At that point, I'd really need a decent TV and my Xbox to keep myself sane. A small fridge would also be preferred. Any of you current drivers hear anything about this rule changing or at least becoming more relaxed? I understand their reasoning, but with some care, damage to the batteries can be mitigated.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Look at South East Carriers; trucks have tripac APU's and do West Coast runs and "NO" northeast.
Pride Transport trucks have xm radio, refrigerator, satellite TV already installed.
Tribe Transportation has refrigerators, Tripac APU's, xm radio, 78" sleepers.
