    Any type of shoe or sneaker that I can kick off easy when I need to go back to the sleeper compartment. If you notice most drivers are wearing something like I do. Boots, especially cowboy boots, are not that popular any more.

    I've been wearing Red Wing work boots for 20 years, and always drove in them. I've been doing it so long now that I couldn't imagine wearing anything else.

    Besides, while others' mileage may vary, from where I sit there is absolutely no excuse for failing to at least attempt to keep a professional appearance on the road.
