Stay Far Away From AIT in Phx, AZ

Close to 8 grand for my loan
1 year later still owe almost 7. Do yourself a favor and go to southwest or a cheaper driving school DO NOT pay 7k for a CDL you'll regret it financially. If you have a GI bill AIT should be ok great school but WAY overpriced. 2-3k is the most you should ever pay for a freaking licence.

 

No, not leasing from Prime. Still don't feel confident enough to lease or purchase from a dealership. I know I bashed their lease program in another thread and that's my opinion of Prime and their lease program. I'll make another thread on their team pay.

 

If I could do it over again I would have taken the longer course with AIT they had a 3 month course same price, but you could get a Pell grant with it bringing it down to around 3k. The instructors were top notch my education was worth every penny. Everyone at the school is friendly. It's not a bad school it's just too expensive.

 

Well AIT paired up with Werner you'll be prehired there in 2 days if u sign your life away for 7900$ you'll be well on your way to 500-600$ a week! Go to any trucking school that is accepted by major carriers. FYI I am not mad about going to AIT loved the instructors.

 

You have to put in applications to trucking companies and call them to get a job. Nobody is gonna pull you by the leash.

 

Prime Inc. Don't drive for Werner unless you're gonna train there that's the only way to make money.
