    No company driver, was looking to get into oilfield now that I almost have 2 years of experiance. Sick of working for central refrigerated/swift.

    I have a nephew started out with Swift (van) he could not make any money, moved over to TMC he is doing fine now. He did not even have 6 mo. in.

    Problem I am having is the loads they are giving me lately load 10 hours after I just wake up and are straight runs with no time to work it. Got chewed out by planner for shutting down to rest, got a message from dm that my track record is not looking good bud we need to get loads on time!. The icing on the cake is that they end those messages with be safe. Safety just seems to be a joke!!

    Wells are still being drilled. I know water bottle drivers making 1500 to 1800 a week working easy gigs. Sand is a different story here. You run hard. Buddy of mine is making 300 a day minimum more if he runs hard pulling sand. Too dirty and gritty for me. I'm a fuel driver and like being home every night.

    Favorite one was when planner told me that I should have forced myself to sleep. I was like how the heck do you do that I don't have a shutdown button.

    Would you suggest a company to try to get on with? I won't do a lease purchase I learned my lesson and washed my hands of that months ago. If I wanted to my grandfather said he would sell me his 2000 Peterbilt 379 for 10grand. Its got a cat motor and runs fine for a truck with 1.8million miles. He retired from trucking last year.

    Yea, I can give you company names and even a contact person but problem is they want tanker experience at the water company. Try Wayne Sells or Keystone Clearwater Solutions, Topfuel Energy Services or Halliburton just to name a few off the top of my head that are running sand.

    Craigslist AD Columbus Ohio today company looking for frack sand driver. Normaly don't look in the transport section, I just sitting here on IPAD and boom there it is. Check it out. Hope this helps
