I'll be attending along with the rest of the LoadDOCs crew. Ping us if you'll be there, looking to grab a drink / meal with industry veterans! Drivers, dispatchers, etc. we want to talk to you, it'll be on us!

Got back this morning, didn't stay for a second day, I'm not a real big "crowd" person, to be honest I was a bit disappointed as there were almost no new models released, unless you count the WS 5700, but that has been out for quite a while.

Also, Freightliners Future Truck was on display, but I think that is a way off.

Checked out some chassis, axle and brake components, nice to see they now have air disc available foe 17.5, always liked the 17.5 for the lower height advantage, always hated them for the brakes.

Probably the highlight of the show for me was I got to do a lap in the Allison TC-10, loaded at 55,000 in a short box trailer, truck was a Prostar Single Axle, so right up my alley.

The tranny was everything I had hoped it would be, obviously I would of liked to have it for a week in a real world environment, but just from my short time with it I think it is head and shoulders above either the I-shift/M-drive or the DT-12.

    Biggest drawbacks,

Heavy, about 400# over a typical AMT,

Pricey, less than an Allison 4000HS, but more than any of the other AMT, by quite a bit,

Selections, as of this time, ONLY available in Int, Prostar/Transtar, I really don't have any issues with the "truck" part of that equation, BUT, it limits you to a MaxxForce 13 engine, I understand they have improved quite a bit, but still not my first (or second) engine choice.
