my previous company had them bring the demo trailer to the yard and then to our quarterly safety dinner. nice seat but I thought it was a little stupid to have them bring it around to tease us with it.
not like their cheap ##### were ever going to order any trucks with one in it

Where did you find it at 4,995$ ? I would order it today; this seats were 7500-8000$ over past years;
a good friend of mine has lower back surgery next week, lower 50s years old and about 20 years OTR; most of my buddies truckers over 45-50 yo, have back problems; look around in truck stops many older truckers are barely walking after years otr;dannythetrucker Thanks this. -
they were quoting $6,500 fleet discount in bulk at the safety dinner presentation last year

I'm own a Volvo 780, with steer airbags ,not bad shaker, but the OEM seat is cheap made National, garbage, like most seats you'll find on new trucks today;
from my reviews searches, the best seats lower priced than BOSE are ISRI /ISRINGHAUSEN http://www.isriusa.com/en/home.html; they offer this seats optional for new Freightliner/Petes/KWs/; but this are just well made air ride/ shock absorber seats, nothing compared with BOSE hitech; I called a dealer in Michigan, still around 3000$;
soo, I better save some $ and get a Bose; -
R&L Carriers has them in majority of their trucks. When we worked there we drove a truck with one around the very bumpy terminal. If you have back problems then highly recommend. We preferred our trucks leather seat because it had a lot of cushion.

Not making money and being smart with money are to different things. Im not going to waste 4 grand on a seat that lets face it will be wore out in a year or two.

I've checked out those seats,the cost is way to high"in my opinion". I like the silver legacy seats,there just as comfortable in the fake leather. Between $600 to $800 check around. Been driving 28 years 2 back surgeries,they work.I bought and picked up the seat at the dealer. They put it in the back of my trailer,I drove to the Petri truck stop and they installed it.

One of Kevin Rutherfrauds biggest yes person's Jackie, was given one for free. She'll do anything for Rutherfraud if ya know...... One can always try that route.....

Couple of things.
1. It doesn't say what the height of off the floor. I don't want a nose bleed from altitude nor do I want the steering wheel in my ribs just so I can touch the pedals.
2. Coffee prices being what they are lately, if it would work on my '86 Pete (the cab doesn't have air ride) I would save $5,000 in spilled coffee.
3. Kevin Rutherford endorsed these at one time, therefore I am automatically skeptical.dannythetrucker and mugurpe Thank this. -
i will second this seat. i got the legacy silver in the fake leather. very nice comfortable chair. the first few days i felt like i was sitting in my recliner at home and kept looking for the remote to find something more interesting to watch. the fake leather has a very nice soft supple feel and the padding material is very nice and the seat rides well. i think i paid right around 700 for mine
