I have a leaky compression splice on a 1/8" line on my frame. Where do you buy your air line and fittings, and compression splicers local? I've looked at local stores, and am about to start an online search to buy.

Any parts house should have them, that or a truck or trailer dealership. Not sure what you have around you. I use Napa here.

I ran a quick connect off the air tank for easy access and yes it will supply an air gun.

The stealerships really try try to bend me over on simple stuff. I'll try NAPA. It's just cheap 1/8" airline and for some reason it has a splice right in the middle of the line. Started leaking when I was getting a little over zealous with the zip ties trying to clean everything up on the frame.

Maybe I should do that with the tires too. The glad hand line seems to take forever airing up a tire.

WD-40 for when it doesn't move and it should.

Duct tape for when it does move and shouldn't.

Plumbing an air fitting right into an air tank is a much better way to access air, I have one plumbed into the rear air tank in my lowboy also so when I'm back there I can work. As far as fittings go look around any decent size city for a hardware supplier, not a hardware store but there are suppliers who stock bolts and hardware for companies, they always have stuff like that stop a mechanic on a construction site he'll know. You can find them on line pretty easy just order an assortment, as far as the one on your truck I would just get some poly air line (I carry some with me) and change the whole line instead of fixing the splice, it's easy to run. I have zero interest in getting out of my daycab but I am a little jealous of the bunk for storage.

    Aside from the standard stuff?

A crowbar. Preferably with a narrow shaft and hook end. Good for grabbing and pulling things.
