TigerShark, dog-c, icsheeple and 1 other person Thank this. -
I stand by my statements. The bottom line is that I work hard and take responsibility for myself. If you want to continue to listen to or state things that you have no idea about then that is your right, but I would encourage both "Shaggy" and "flybynight12" to take a more responsible stance when they decide to make statements about things they have no correct information on.
Goodnight and Goodluck to you both. I am done with your very incensere conversation.

That's great you like CRST but you need to keep in mind what works for 1 person doesn't mean it works for everyone else.CRST is one of those companies with the worst reputation by drivers, you can't tell me all those drivers are just full of hot air.
Shaggy Thanks this. -
I have NO Opinion about CRST , just was browsing the thread, but felt I should chime in . I started with ZERO OTR experience and started @ .32/mile 3 months in raise to .38/mile quit after my first 6 months 2nd job started @ .40/mile 3rd month on that job .45/mile So after only 9 months experience I was @ .45/mile after my second year I was at .50/mile now on to becoming a Owner operator, to go home with chicklets at .32 whatever per mile is student pay rates and even then is the industry low ball rate.. Your killing yourself for pennies on the dollar, there is much better wages to be made out there as a company man( in the thirties range your meat in the seat paying for their nice new shiny truck) just my opinion and my experience.. Keep a clean DAK/CSA 2010, get your experience and move on ... good luckShaggy Thanks this.

I don't think a trainer should have 1 year and 2 months experience. When I first came into this industry most trainers had to have 7 years/700,000 miles. Someone with less than 2 years/200,000 miles is still a green horn and not past the dangerous stage.

Is that was CRST requires? What about these companies that only require 3 and 6 months exp to be a trainer.Bottom line its all about making companies money, safety comes second.Would'nt surprise me if companies hire trainers and some of those trainers have a bad driving record even before they were chosen to train.
Drac1985 Thanks this. -
i would have to agree with pattyj
when i was in trucking school everyone in my class filled out apps for every company but not crst and it made me wonder -
Hey punky 74...
Sounds like Crst is all you baby, why would you care what anyone else's opinion is about your outfit? ... If the shoe fits wear it, no need to get upset about it.... We are proud of you for working hard & being responsible for yourself, evidently other drivers don't like Crst for some reason or another..... So be it, right?unholy7, Shaggy, truckerlife74 and 3 others Thank this. -
I agree with SuperFlow. If CRST is working out for you then awesome. A guy I worked with at R&L Carriers had a good experience with CRST also.
Crash Roll Stunt Team.....my favorite nickname for a company.
