There's always 2 sides to the story, and the red-faced angry "just quit because I didn't know what I agreed to in the first place" story that makes no sense usually goes unrefuted. So thanks for letting us know what your experience is!

What works for one may not work for another, it's always interesting to read how different companies structure their organization. Sometimes I feel really grateful for what I have and sometimes I think "well there's a neat idea, I wonder if that would work..."

Yea, I was going to say...I had a friend who worked for TriHi and he didn't have any issues....always big mile runs, WI to CA, WI to WA, WI to TX, etc and nice equipment. I am a firm believer that at least 25% of the "i hate this company" threads here are from deadbeats who couldn't make it flipping burgers, but that's whats great about this country, freedom to go do what you want and mess up, job after job.

I only stay out for a week at a time at most. Then Im home for a couple days. Then I take plenty of time off in the summer to enjoy my family and friends. Im no super trucker. I work as much as I NEED to and WANT to. Id rather work less, get paid less, but be home MORE. If I wanted to run my ### off like some of the other guys, I could do 12,000+ miles a month. BUT I CHOOSE not to. Try keeping your negative comments to yourself, if you don't know the full story....

well, my original assumption that 44-47K sucks, is spot on. had i known that he took a bunch of time off, I may not have offended him with my "negative" comment
