Yes you will get the same channels she has. They just add on that extra box to what she is already getting.

Thanks,,,the customer service lady told me I may not get all the channels my mother in-law has, depending on where I am,,,and I thought that just sounded stupid..lol

Is it really that time consuming to set up an 18" dish? I mean $70 vs $700 says to me, "dish cant be that big of a deal" but, maybe I am wrong. I realize, I would have to set the dish up every time I stop, and find the satellite.. I used to see a lot of dish's on trucks but, not so much anymore.

The first couple of times, it will take you a little bit. After that, it gets pretty easy. Make sure you have a truck stop guide, that has the zip.codes. You have to put.that in your box, to get the direction and elevation.

What zip code do you put in? I assume the one that your closest to? If so, I can just google the town I am in, right? Maybe there is something I am not getting..

You put in the zipcode of the place your at. Elevations and azimuth change from place to place.

Hirschbach Motor Lines is advertising DirecTV in every truck. Anyone know how their set up works and what it costs them? I'm not interested in working for them, but would like to know if they've figured out how to get reasonably priced DirecTV to a truck.
