Red diesel is not farm diesel. It is off road diesel. Same exact stuff you use, but it has red dye in it and is exempt from the highway use tax. It cannot be used in cars or trucks that are used on the highways. All though many people do it anyway. Since dipping of tanks is very rare these days. There is a very hefty fine if caught. On the highway with any red die in your fuel.
