I get all of my maintenance account back and my security deposit if put towards the new one. Our maintenance account here is set up that it is our money and we decide how much to put in.

I will enjoy it. After 20+ years of 9 speeds, super 10's, 13 and 18, I am looking forward to the change. I am not a super trucker. Just one that is out here to make a comfortable living, and that I do. Run my little 2800-3000 miles per week. All that I need.

Looks nice, I don't know if I could fit all of my stuff in a 680 after being in a 660.

Looks like we finally found the elusive unicorn!

I kid I kid. Lol congrats man on the completion. I work in the south Texas oilfields and every time I saw a blue swift kw on south 35 I always wondered if it was you.

    Congrats again!

I am new and still a company driver.
Do you make more leasing than a company driver if you aren't training?
Also why start a new lease? The truck I drive is almost at 500,000 and has a lot of problems. Is that why a new lease is better than buying the truck?
Almost forgot to add, I am new to truck driving too.

Pay is hard, because it all depends on how much you run. I like the pay Steve gets leasing but it is a balance between slow weeks, hard weeks and weeks not working. I could ask everyone how much did you make last week? and it could be $75 to $1000+ was it hard, slow, good, did they push themselves or did they break down. They all end up in areas with no frieght it happens.

He loves the freedom of saying hell no to loads, calling command and getting paid extra, not working for whatever reason, keeping the same truck not moving things out, sometimes better equipment then whatever Swift gives you. A new truck has problems but less then an older truck.

It has responsibilities, because you need new tires? guess who pays for that and towing etc? You aren't working you still need to make that lease payment it takes planning. It's a commitment check out Taz who wants out and wants someone to take over his lease.
