That all depends on your DM/Driver manager, my DM usually communicates with me through text and phone call, and sends all load information through the QC. Sometimes when I find the load that I want I inform my DM just out of courtesy and most of the time he will re-negotiate the rate for me and get it higher!!!!! By the time that im empty he's calling with loads to offer me, before I get chance to find one on my own. he knows that I like round trips from my home, therefore he tries to hook me up with that. I only run sunday - Thursday and sometimes Friday and I still bring home between 2000-2800 per week after all deductions. I guess that's because I live in a high freight zone. This is my 2nd time with eagle, the first I was called up for active duty and upon my return I came back. rates are low depends on the shipper, but there is so much freight to be moved, and if you aren't comfortable haggling your rate let your DM do it that's part of his job. Or tell him that you need to clear five thousand a week and that you expect him to make it happen.

 

Mine has been telling me to trust him...his higher paying guys he says do that....hmmmm,I'm all for trusting to a point.but I need to see it too....thanks to answer...mine crapped his pants when I said I like most to use the Qualcomm,lol....but once he knew I was good on texting and email.....and occasional phone he seemed better.....wants to send me loads via email...and that's ok to me too....

I really don't know what terminal ....but I met him and talked with him in Indianapolis so I guess that one....but nearest one to my home is Fontana....I think eagle is just that tiny terminal in Indy,lol....man it's small too!

 

ok, you need to be dispatched out of the Fontana yard. it will benefit you more than being dispatched out of indy! I gurantee it.

 

Why? I'm not looking for hometime often....I do all 48....

 

oh ok, I thought maybe you would enjoy more hometime while maximizing your profits.
