EZ Pass Collection (how to proceed)

I've got one of those. Ezpass/prepass in the same box. Got the yellow light on it too but never had it come on. Not sure what the yellow is for.

 

Prepass+ combines tolls and scales into 1 transponder. Prepass is just scales.

Yellow means your battery is low

 

ah so that is what hte yellow light is, those batteries last a while dont they?

 

Any and ALL mail you send, do so by Certified Mail/Return Receipt. Costs a few pennies more, but you'll have proof that you sent it. If I am not mistaken, EZ Pass can also mess with your car registrations until it is paid off as well, but that is something I heard from an employer, when I ran through the EZ Pass with an out of money account.

 

Even if a company sends a debt to an agency you can still pay the company directly. The company will then notify the agency that the debt was paid. The company prefers to get paid directly because then they don't have to pay the 50% fee to the agency.

I used to run an accounting department and we used the #2 agency in the country for our bad debts. We did not have to pay to send someone to the agency. We only got a percentage of the cash that was collected depending on when the payment was made.
