1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

You will have to tell us truckers what is so good about this job to warrant the massive pay cut.

Seems like an odd statement. Nobody on this forum would be looking for a 9 to 5 or looking to sit behind a desk.

I've driven both trucks and busses. The advantage of bus is the loads are self loading and unloading. No straps or tarps. Unfortunatly, they are not all no touch loads. Got fired for slapping some one who deserved it.

    Steel Maverick Thanks this.

$47,000 - $52,000 suddenly equals "highest pay in industry". At least you are honest about the pay but that isnt even close to the highest. Its rather insulting actually.

They did say, not including gratuities. Which can be very good once you are high enough on the pecking order to get the good trips. However, in the mean time you are driving school groups (read as no tips and a bus load of those screaming kids that nobody is disciplining when you see them at Walmart). Oh and did we mention free food? Good groups...good meals. School groups...hope you love McDonalds.
