Just wondering if the radiators that are advertised in the truck paper are any good? If so which one is realible? I have a 99 3406e 550hp in a 379.

I've used Detroit Radiator a couple times with good luck. I bought their heavy duty one for a KW W900. I'm was running close to 800hp and it did a decent job of keeping it cool. I just did one on another W900 and had a local radiator shop build it for me. I like it much better. Its a full 3" core and appears to be better built. The Detroit core is 2 3/4" thick. I think I payed $1900 for the Detroit core, the local one I just did was $1600 using my tanks and new side brackets. I see your in Vancouver WA, You might look into Radiator Supply house in Forest Grove OR, I've never used them but a buddy does for his freightliners and they're all turned up and we pull maxi's 105,500 all the time.

Thanks. I will look them up this week. I'm more than likely going to need the top tank just because it's getting lots of rust...
