Hey
im looking at buying my first truck after being a company driver for 20 years.
Im after opinions from those who actually know,
Am I better to buy new, therefore know truck hasn't been thrashed and get full warranty etc
or pay approx $100k less and get a 2 year old 250-300,000 km used truck that is out of warranty but has had manufacturers service plan carried out.
My my gut tells me go new but also saving the extra $$ means more profits and less debt.
I am looking at a Scania 560
New or used??

Never buy a new truck when it's your first. What if you suck at owner op? Instead of paying a 35,000 loan off. Now your paying a 156,00. Im buying my first truck too. I want a new Volvo 780 but it's not smart business.

#### I wish I could get s new truck for $156 or used for 35k
I'm looking at $275 new or $175k at 2 years old. -
A. Price reflects the fact you live in Canada
B. In the upper right there is a search box put in "new vs used" and the thousands of times that this has been discussed on this forum will pop up -

Used. Get a starter truck 5 or 6 years old with 650K miles or less.

######. The used truck I researched, found and was exactly what I wanted was bought today by a guy I work with. Wanker was asking me all about it and snuck off like a rat and bought it this morning.
