LOL. I have figured out my cents per mile and for my experience level I make more than. 32 but than.50 cents per mile.... For the last time getting paid 10-99 is no different.... I started as a W-2 employee somewhere else. They treated me like garbage & my truck was a pos. Not to mention I felt like I was paying them to work... Trust me when I say there's nothing wrong with working here.... But I guess there is always someone out there that is going to disagree just because they can... Or there drunk or because they have nothing Better to do. It's a free country say what you want...

New Beginnings' sign in shows he has 1 year experience so there goes the basis for his statements. Wait until 20 years or more from now when he gets ready to retire and there is no chance of SS because it wasn't paid into or he hasn't planned any 401K or like previously said no FICA was paid. He is going to have one hell of a wake up call but he is convinced that he is in Utopia and like is a "barrel of chocolate" Good luck New Beginnings because you're going to need it later if not sooner.

I know someone in that situation. In her 70's and no social security or pension. Fortunatly her daughter and son-in-law are able to keep food on her table and utilities paid.

After my time with company I would like to share my experience with them....(1) I personally get along with the employee's here, However being new to the OTR seen there are plenty of DOT rules i do NOT agree with. (2) The rumors of horror that go along with this company are 100% false... Being secluded in a truck is a challenge all of it's own... It's not the company, It's the conditions that a driver face's in the field...

People need to understand that driving for this company is & can be a fun experience(I had a BLAST). Martin Enterprises of The Carolina's is a trucking company that I enjoyed working with (notice I said with & not "for")(Remember this is a 10-99 company, your a sub-contractor aka free agent driver).

I will be writing a short story of my experiences of working for "Martin" in the very near future. I will be sharing the good, bad, and questionable practice's of this company for anyone that plan's on applying with them in the future.

Please send any questions you would like me answer as I will be 100% honest in my answers and will not hold back.

Quick answer... Charles Martin & his wife Tonya Martin as well as the office staff are honest people running a wonderful place of employment for driver's who may need a 2nd chance or for experience driver's such as myself who dislike the rules written in stone that the larger trucking companies these day's follow..... If your a driver that like's to be know as a name & not a number then this is a company you many want to consider looking into. I walked in with a smile & a hand shake and left with a smile & a hand shake...

Please send and questions you would like me to answer. I worked for them for 3 mouths and am now on leave for personal reasons....

It was a wonderful 3 months.... God Bless, & let god be with all the driver's on the road that cannot be home with there families this Easter. To the Easter Bunny!
