Anyone a laptop gamer?

Asus is cheaper with same specs

 

I have had both, I had to send my Asus in multiple times to have the video card replaced due to bad cooling setup that they used at the time. Once the laptop was out of its warranty period I bought this Alienware and have never looked back. I also really like the fact of 3 screws and I can service the entire laptop under neath. Cost me 300$ more then the new Asus and came with slightly better specs.

As for gaming I kind of stick in my truck and goof off on it, Cost to much to want to take it inside and chance something happening to it. =)

 

I play counterstrike source and quake live on my laptop. Not really sure why you are asking this question since all you have to do is get a few pillows and a lap desk and you are all set.

 

That game is my guilty pleasure, I have been playing CS sense before it was bought out by valve. So much fun to rage 12 year olds, Its the only game I can sit there and picture the dude throwing the keyboard at the screen.

 

I have unlimited data on my phone it also has hot spot capabilities.

 

I can not ever recall seeing a track ball in the many years of PC Gamer's review of "Best Gaming Mice"!

You get a decent Ping to play real time, competitively? I am almost 50. The Ping in my brain is too slow to combat the kids online.. hehehee

Hahahahaaha! In side by side Controller vs Keyboard/Mouse players the controller group was wiped off the game! So badly that games set up different servers to make it fair.


I had an Asus laptop that did well. But now have a local gig so my last buy was getting back to a desktop. A no name budget model but still about four times faster than my nearly 5 year old laptop.

You can get a fold up TV tray that wont take up too much room

 

The Prostar has the slide out tray. I like City Monopoly on the laptop. It's fun

I get decent ping thur my Iphone, I'm able to play alot of games like Titanfall, CS, Battlefield, COD and WoW with no issues at all.
