Here's where it's tricky. Let's say they give you a load for example that gives you 2,499 miles. Keep in mind, that's practical miles. Not hub miles. Add on another at least 8 percent and not more than 10 percent, and you come up with more than they are paying you for that load, and that is in fact theft by deception. They know it's more than that, but you think they will not get paid for every mile that truck does you're sadly mistaken, because they do, but they don't tell you that.

Paul, it's the truth. Even I didn't want to accept that it was happening. Reality was looking at me in the face, and then I begin to do research for myself, and found it to be very true. Surfer Joe has nothing to do with this at all. It's facts pertaining to what a driver should be paid for. I am well capable of having my own beliefs without the impropriety of your comments, because you don't like Surfer Joe, and that's between you and Surfer Joe. -
There is a reason why the unions have been trying for the past few years to unionize Wal-Mart. Its because the unions have literally destroyed all the manufacturing jobs or otherwise ran them out of the country. So since there is no manufacturing jobs left in America anymore, in order to increase their union membership and union dues they are forced to go after the low paying retail sector of the economy, and if they are successful the price for goods and services all of us pay will literally skyrocket through the roof.
For the time being. UPS has found itself a very lucrative niche of the market and doesnt face hardly any competition. There are not too many companies out there that can make that same claim. Eventually though, a non-union company will come along and be able to give UPS a run for its money, and when it does UPS will either be forced to dump the unions or be forced out of business.
Unions are basically parasites. Instead of living off of host animals they are living off of host businesses and industries until those businesses and industries inevitably are destroyed by them.
Indeed, weve watched that same scenario play out over and over again ad nauseam. Unions increase the cost of doing business and therefore make companies vulnerable to foreign competition and non-union businesses.
The unions literally decimated the auto industry and forced all of us consumers to pay exorbitant prices for automobiles in order to fund unionized auto-workers lavish lifestyles.double yellow Thanks this. -
You have your beliefs and I have mine. Said all I am going to say about this without flaming the topic.paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Being paid hub miles is something I can agree with, separately and entirely.

That's right. My beliefs are rooted in reality. Your beliefs are not. That's all there is to it.paul_4lp Thanks this.
