I just reposted it because people still think it's all a rumor and there are no flyers etc etc

You are exactly right. They own the trucks and can do exactly as they wish.
And you are right in that I will have no choice but to move along if I disagree too strongly with anything Swift does.

Driver facing cameras is a tipping point for me. If Swift imposes it on me, I will leave.
If many more long term and experienced drivers do the same it could be a tipping point for Swift as a viable company as well.

I have no doubt that I could find another company to work for, and one to my liking.
(provided people want to hire you)
I have no tickets, an excellent safety and on-time score, over 4 years OTR...
From my point of view, I write the ticket.

    truckon Thanks this.

So I guess I'm now searching for the companies that truly value their drivers and respect privacy? Swift, Prime, Melton, Conway do not currently. Is there a carrier that is a good home still and will not impose driver facing cams? I'd like to see if this exists.

Check out Holland Enterprises. Their trucks are loaded. APU, Sat TV and radio, fridges, inverters. the whole sha bang. Read on another thread that drivers are getting 2800 miles/wk avg. Not sure on the pay scale though.
