I was told you have to not expose the strap out of rail , this is why I bought the strap with chain at the end , it's more $$ but DOT like it more ..... please be advise I am new to flatbed transport

 

Nope that's the only way it can be done on that trailer.

 

Welcome to flatbed. Its legal to strap outside the rail.

Just so you know this is a subject that has been brought up and argued about many many times on this site.

The nights that used to happen to me the heated mattress pad did wonders. Just if you're fat like me only turn it on real low-first nite I ever had it I turned it to 5 (of 9 settings).......was having heat dreams and woke up to an odd feeling...TMI coming up if you have sensitive ears....woke up because ofthe off feeling of laying on my back and having my bean bag touching the mattress...ugh sofa king hot

heated mattresss pads are great for aches n pains.

 

Unfortunately for me I'm one of those that gets very VERY hot and sweats when I sleep. I don't even think of any heat of any sort in the bunk till the temps are well into the 20's and above 50 outside I'm running the A/C to sleep. I'm afraid any kind of heating pad would eliminate any chance of sleep. My marital unit on the other hand freezes when she sleeps and thinks the fact I got so hot is fantastic, kind of a match made in heaven, she puts her cold uh hum up against me and I don't sweat and she doesn't freeze............when I'm home. When I'm not I'm not sure what she does.

 

I get hot and uncomfortable. My lady gets super hot and loves it...always wants to press up on me with her fine self....kinda like having a hot loaf of bread pressed on me while I'm on the beach :/ phew

she gets pretty annoyed when I blast the fan directly at the bed while the AC is on lol

 

Ok ill chime in cause I'm guilty of wearing this subject out many of times!
So,
Not sure what your seeing but..his straps are considered inside the rail. It's the metal hook that's out side the rail. This is how 90% of the FB do it. if some one swipes you it has a better chance of not getting cut off verse the nylon outside the rail.

Since your looking for a little advise...He also did it this way so his book will stay in place as he walks around to tighten straps.

You make ruts and kill the grass, which turns into mud when you do that. A lot of us have dogs and would like to enjoy the grassy areas in good shape.

Just something to consider.
