Looking For O/O willing to consider taking a new Driver for 3-6 months training

    I am newly qualified Canadian AZ driver in Ontario, but I need and want to get real AZ driving experience. This is a new career for me at 58, paid for my own training with TTC in Peterborough Ontario.willing to pay the cost of any extra truck and freight insurance cover that might be needed to cover newly qualified driver. If there is any owner drivers who might be interested in having a additional driver to work with him/her and to offer mentoring. I am willing to work for reduced rate or help pay to something for getting mentoring and real world driving experience for 3-6 months with experienced and suitable owner/operator in any trucking area from flatbeds/tankers.vans/Reefers. I can travel to any part of Canada and be based. Canadian citizen worked in US for last 7 years but not in trucking.Good health,fit non smoker,flexible and able to do hard work and work away from home for extended periods.     There are a number of companies in your area that have solid and established training plans why would you not go there spend 3 to 6 months pay nothing and then move on. Like in the US a lot of the starter companies are able to take newly licensed drivers because they are self insured to a point and don't have to deal with regular insurance companies. If an O/O is with a company they have to get approved by that company because a lot of times they are using not only the companies name and plates they are also on the companies insurance.

    You deffinately sound like a real good fit for trucking.As long as you have an adequate MVR there are many starter companies that will hire you.
