557.7 mi, 9 hr 43 min drivingdouble yellow Thanks this. -
Lucky Joe. I couldn't go that far in one day, anyway, with a 64 mph limit. But I lost a load from Elizabethtown, KY to our California yard because this placed closed earlier than they 3:00 PM schedule. Ah, well. Life could be worse than spending the weekend in Kentucky.

I am still adjusting to the perspective change.
I have been tending to run higher paying shorter runs because they net more $ per day than the longer runs that were showing up where I was.
The other thing is finding loads that will keep me busy through the weekend. When you are sitting in Denver or SLC the only real 3 or 4 day run was into the NY ports.DenaliDad and joseph1135 Thank this. -
Well I go back to work for SEC on May 4th, I haven't driven a big truck in almost six months since I left SEC in November.
I don't see anyone posting anything on this website about SEC anymore so I will give anyone that's interested my honest
opinion of them after I start driving for them again. I did notice their website says they are not going out of business so
maybe they are going through some rough times now. I was almost not going to go back with them when I saw the bad
driver fitness PSP score they have, but i decided not to let it influence my decision. I have driven for some really rotten
companies over the years and I really did not have to many complaints to make when I drove for them. I am glad to see
all of you guys seem to be satisfied with your jobs and it looks like they are keeping you pretty busy.Blu_Ogre Thanks this. -
Wow....i havent looked at their website airbreeze but if a company actually states that they have not gone out of business on their website it makes me wonder if they meant to add the word "yet" at the end of that statement...
like you i really liked the people there....just too many chiefs and not enough indians theredrvrtech77 and Air Breeze Thank this. -
Ya, when I read that on their website it kinda made me wonder too. It says they plan on staying in business.
They also do brokering and storage, in fact I think they own about half of Lawrenceburg. lol. I spoke with one
of the owners and he said he was happy to see that I was returning to work for them. I know I could find a
company that pays more and has better benefits, but thats not all I am looking for in a driving job. -
Still seeing SEC trucks rolling on the west side of the country. Keep noticing them and saying to myself "Dang it that aint Tow"
Air Breeze Thanks this.
