I would def look into Maverick. From another person on the fourm said they have the ability to use your post 9-11 gi bill for the first year of employment. Something to consider
-
TMC has the same thing but you can use your 9-11 for up to 24 months
http://www.tmctrans.com/drive-for-tmc/va-benefits.aspxny2tn Thanks this. -
While this is in fact true...after you make a certain amount of money while you are with the company, your benefits will stop. VA considers you not being "On the job training" anymore after you make that cutoff amount. You would be considered a "professional" at the job. I cannot remember what the amount is. That is something that would have to be researched.

Does TMC have a good freight like in Nc? I'm thinking of going with them when I'm out of the Marines in August.
-
The freight is okay in nc I live near fort Bragg home everyweekend usually lumber on the south east but I run in Ohio and Tennessee alot. Usually brink home 1k a week after tax when I'm not training.
-
Hauer do u like working for TMC?
-
Yea they will treat you well and play you well as long as you play there game...
-
How long did it take you to bring home 1k a week? (After your 7 weeks of training of course)
I'm might be moving to NC in a few months. Are you a trainer for them? -
What area of Tennessee, I will retire next year and looking at moving between Clarksville and Nasvhille so my wife can transfer and work at Fort Campbell. TN looked like good place for for cargo going thru so getting home might not be as big of issue when I want to. Thoughts!
