if you must be cali compliant i would go for the newest truck with the most warranty remaining that you can afford.

Yeah, I think not being Cali Compliant would be a big mistake since I live in the NW. I would say my budget is about 70k

I would get a 2012- 2013 Volvo with XE package $70-90k with low miles

I would not buy truck with Volvo engine now. the parts are fantastic expensive and as always no stocked in dealers. You will order it and wait few days.... Volvo with cummins is much better option.

I was in the same situation last September. I bought 2012 Cascadia with DD15. Volvo, Paccar, maxforce engines were out of my list because of this forum ))). if you run NM 500 hp and up Cummins engine would be perfect choice for you.akfisher Thanks this.

post 2013 isx engines have less issues than pre 2013.
