I'm probably taking a job in south sf pulling 53 ft any thing I should know? I'm pretty much a rookie at tractor trailer and the dock for the company I will work for is blind side and not much space should be interesting. I'm also not exactly an expert of the area especially that side of the bay.
Driving class A in ca bay area?

I live in the Bay Area also...where did you go for your training?

Driving in SF isn't that bad just need to not be afraid to push 4 wheelers out of the way to swing wide for turns. I delivered all over the city with a spread axle flatbed and long wheelbase truck without any issues. I didn't know the city either that's why there's gps. Also google San Francisco truck route map. All the main roads are legal they just dont want you on neighborhood roads. But the neighborhood roads aren't even posted anyway, I delivered sewer pipe to plenty of them and never saw a no truck sign.

Just do not make the mistake of trying to get down Lombard street with your truck while they are filming a movie at the bottom.

I make two regular deliveries in the Bay area, I feel for you. LOL been backed into three times, all in Oakland at the same place a crappy little cold storage meant for daycabs and 40' pups not OTR rigs with 53'ers.
