You have to be kidding. That doesn't even make any sense. What does going company driver have to do with a divorce?

Why does a divorce mean "turn in your lease truck" personally I think turning in any lease is the smartest thing anyone could do, but that's besides the point

well, this is a guy that had a paid off '06 Freightliner, decided the best business decision was to sell it for something like $34k and then lease a new one from Schneider at $1,000 a week. He had all the answers to leasing and trucking in general. I guess, in the end, all of his answers just didn't match up to the questions being asked.

A divorce is tough..but no reason to turn in the truck.
He still had to come up with the cash to buy another one.
Which makes no sense..the money he threw down to get the used truck could've been used to keep his business rolling in the black.
Now he has to worry about maintenance issues and breakdowns.

Poor decisions will kill your bottom line.

But hey we are ALL different..it's just my opinion.

Never been through a divorce (or been married for that matter lol) so I don't know all the details, but I was watching his videos and he said he had to turn it in because of something related to dividing up assets due to the divorce? Dunno.

Sucks to hear about his divorce though, never wish that upon anyone but hopefully it was for the best.
