I know of them, never worked for them.I believe they used to run a 250-300 radius of Central IL, don't know if that's the case or not now. Drivers I've talked to that worked for them seemed to like them, got home every week-end and sometimes through the week.They used to run alot of freight for Cat out of the Peoria area. If you get time over the next couple of weeks throw out some info on the honeymoon phase of how it's going with them!Be Safe.

that sounds about right or that what the company tells me anyway. they seem to be all good people. getting my truck next week. its a small company they only have about 90 trucks

I was a driver for them for 5 1/2 yrs. Last year i made $38,000 OTR. was a better company before it was sold to mark v. Steady pay but but the lot is full of empty trucks now. Top pay is 42cpm on elogs average miles are 1500-2000. I left them because i wanted to be home every night and i got a flat out no. Honestly seniority means nothing there and my time and hard work meant nothing. My truck number was 631 and i was from the st louis area and there is a driver in my same area and the only one in my area with a day cab. Started a year after me. Just waisting my time there and i did not want to live in a truck p into a bottle when i have no time to stop and take a bath out of a bucket for $38 grand. G&d drivers made more than i did and most of them are home every night. Most of the drivers i knew have quit and i am happier home every night now.

Don,
Let me understand this. Cox has a $1050 weekly guaranteed minimum, with $500 quarterly bonus, and $1200+ annual fuel bonus. That totals to $57,800. Did you work the whole year, or??? Also, most drivers made more than the minimum. Seniority is important which is why we offer anniversary awards from $200 to $3,000. We are not a perfect company, but I am working to make it a great place to work. I hope you are happy at your new company. Good Luck.trkrjim Thanks this. -
I started with cox in march of 15, I ha e worked for many companies, and I will say this;
This is the first co.pay that has ever treated me as a person and not a number. I'm 47 and just lost my dad in july, the owner of the company and the dispatch and the rest has been great. I wa s able to take 2 weeks off before he passed, to help my mom take care of him. I wasn't questioned o e ti.e on when I was coming back. I was told family first and they meant it. This company will not make you a rich person , but I will say this, I will never hurt for money again as long as I work for cox. I have and will recommend this company to ANYONE, who wants to feel like a family. They are sincere about treating u like a human. I will retire from this company if the Lord's willing. -
