I haven't posted for a while but things are going pretty good here I'm testing on the Tuesday hopefully all goes well and i get out with the trainer finish up then get to go home and see the kids foe a few days at least the course I'm testing at is pretty brutal with all the cars in the parking lot constantly there from the regular dmv traffic i have heard some horror stories from people about other people about taking out cars with dot bumpers because cars are in the way ( and the test takers weren't paying attention) so wish me luck hopefully I'm not one of those people but then again i do pay attention and watch mirrors.
mje Thanks this. -
Just take your time and think about what you are doing. On our testing here we could not get out and look but if they will let you DO IT. Now at my Wolding orientation they preached get out and look and not only was it safer but helped see true angles and cones.
Best of luck Tuesday!mje Thanks this. -
I aced my test this morning everything went without so much as a hiccup, i have my cdl in hand now I'm just ready to go to orientation then out with my trainer and hopefully home to see the wife and kids soon

Congrats on passing, it will get better from here.
mje Thanks this. -
Have you started driving solo or are you still with a trainer with Earl Henderson? I'm still figuring out which company to go with to get a cdl.

Are you in school now?

Are any of you all still with Henderson and if so,how are you liking it there?

I test out on Friday. I'm in orientation now. No complaints. Everyone has been very nice. Motel is clean, food is good and the training is thorough. It's a smaller company so it's more personal which means you won't get lost in the mix. And since we are hauling Prime loads, we have all kinds of freight. All reefer though. Keep that in mind.
Chinatown, Ga Dawg141 and mje Thank this.
