That's all warm and fuzzy, but there have been two instances in the past 6 months that I have passed trucks with laptops visible and the drivers were using them to watch movies while driving.

And what the hell am I supposed to do?

Read my map while driving? Or squint at a really small 3.5 x 3.5 GPS screen?

    No thanks.

I don't watch movies. hell I dont even watch my software thats running my GPS. Most of the time it simply sits there, open and running.

Thankfully so, after the shutdown on I-75 this week. I rerouted immediately and missed the whole malfunction. While others sat for an hour or so, twiddling their thumbs.

You can see so much more on a 17 inch screen :) Alternate roads that is.

I understand the watching movies BS. And I'll be one of the first people to call in on these clowns. But don't punish people who have a legitimate use for them.

Maybe the officers should check to see if they driver has an air card or any DVD's...before writing any type of citation.
