I do have some experience with moving trailers. I am a backup yard driver at one job. We drive yard trucks and my other job is going to let me move trailers in a day cab. #I don't have cdl or otr experience. #Also am really wanting either flatbed or tanker. #

    Chinatown Thanks this.

With Millis you either go through their school or have one years experience.

Forget the food grade stuff and go Hazmat tanker
Trimac, Superoir and Scheinder will take new drivers

Yeah I have read a lot on the Millis section of the forum. It's one thing I don't like about them I would rather pay myself. That way i can get a job with cdl in hand. But the people on the forum seem happy with them.

I have looked into Superior Carriers the closest yard is to far away. Also I thought Schneider was food grade only.

Go with SCHNEIDER tanker...They'll give you great training...Those food grade companies are gonna want to see safe driving and steady work history for a few years.
