It is real muddy on the rds. Was following a volvo and he couldn't make it. He was sinking on the dirt rd so we backed up about a mile back to the laydown yard. I almost didn't make it back to the yard. The volvo got stuck. I think they put gravel down on the rd bc hr later he left while i went different way. The other rds were also muddy. I don't know how the heavy haul or blade trucks made it in. Ran out of hrs at the windmill site so im back at the lay down yard til morning then picking up in keokuk ia to eagle pass tx. I like doing these wind projects almost as much as a crane move.

 

Fuel surcharge. It helps to offset the cost of fuel.

 

Finally got the eagle pass load off then went home for the wknd. Loaded ac units yesterday in San Antonio with 3 stops in the carolinas

 

Loaded 4 skid steers in sanford nc with a stop in springfield and joplin mo.

 

they sent me bunch of offers so I chose Wichita ks with 3 stops in tx. got that off today and was offered several loads. I need to get to st cloud for a in person that's required by the end of the month so I took a 2 stop ga final in nc since I saw few loads going to mn when I was in nc last week. so I decided to try my luck there.
cant wait. 2 more months then this lease is up and I can get a brand new truck.

 

Gotta load some counterweights over by greencastle pa going down to Houston for Monday

 

Still no load to mn but was offered stacked trls to sd for 1.19 cpm. Instead taking ac units to duluth ga. Unfortunately i ran out of hrs about an hr west of atlanta so gotta del day later.
