Not really, other than some of the stores they deliver to aren't setup right. Some you have to drop diesel then move the truck to drop gas. We were delivering to racetracs for a while helping them out.
With loading for race Trac you do a lot of load NL at one place then go to another place to load premium, then a third place to load diesel. -
DrtyDiesel,
When you started with Eagle you said you had a 3 hour commute, is that correct?
Also, do they have regional / otr positions? Reason Im asking I live near Valdosta, Georgia (2 hours away from JAX) and do not mind the commute if they are willing to allow that.
Thanks,DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
Yeah I lived in Hawthorne, FL and it was a 3 hour round trip. I eventually moved to Jacksonville.
They have otr but its mainly out of Tennessee doing chemicals. Even working in Jax you'll be going to south Carolina and down to Orlando. Still home every night. I actually no longer work for eagle, but I definitely still recommend them. -
Thanks,
I applied with Quality Carriers out or JAX. Any other recommendations for regional / otr out of the area? -
Not much else for tanker work, cypress does flatbed though.

Moved to a smaller company out of south Florida called CWC. We only have one truck right now in Jax, its me and one other guy. Paid hourly now, and the truck are manuals. I'm back in a peterbilt with a stick shift. I just got tired of the automatics at Eagle.Drew352 Thanks this.
