Anyone know where I can get just the sensor pigtails for the harness? The stealership says I have to buy the whole harness, which is unacceptable. I need only the oil temp pigtail, as mine chafed through too close to the plastic plug to splice. At present I'm trying to rebuild the plastic plug by splicing and soldering the wires and then filling the plug with resin, but would like an oem solution. Any advice on parts supply is much appreciated.

Thanks. Any idea what make and model I should put in? The website keeps trying to outsmart my search.

Your dealership is lying, I get plug repair kits all the time. If that was a warranty repair, you can bet that they'd find the the part # for just the plug. No way Detroit would pay to change the entire harness.

Most of those plugs are replaceable. Just pay close attention to the actual shape of the plug as they are "keyed" slightly different depending on what it plugs into.
