1989 peterbilt 379 no start

    The batteries had 12.1V I charged them all day yesterday, I looked at the terminals they look clean.

    Once the engine starting running the rpms revved way high and there was what sounded like a belt squeal on steroids ( it sounded like something was gonna explode) .... should I figure out what is causing that before trying to get the motor running?

    It was the ignition fuse, she fired up and runs fine now... thanks guys for all of the help

    I'm gonna replace that primary filter / primer pump unit with a new one and reconnect the fuel lines to it
