After parking at a truck stop I sit in my cab with my shirt off with my Shake Weight and a grin on my face. It gets looks of regard from other drivers.

If you've got an empty trailer and you're sitting, do some push ups in that

Specially in summer, on the hot sunny day. You'll be drenched in a minute. Drink lots and lots of water, don't want to be passing out in there.

Diet is insanely important if you want to stay in shape. If you don't have a fridge, get one. Stock up on vegetables. Instead of bread for sandwiches, use romaine lettuce. Avoid processed meats and any processed food really, if you're sitting as much as you have to for this job, the salt is not good for your blood pressure. So if you're doing sandwiches, you want tomato, a good cheese, and maybe some turkey breast or chicken (from the butcher / meat section, not the deli), if you're unable to cook it, then find anywhere that you can get actual chicken or turkey breast, a lot of grocery stores have something like this you can buy cooked and then pull the meat off.

EAT BREAKFAST!!!!! But not the $7 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, pancakes, toast, and hashbrown breakfast, get something like a vegetable omelet. You're going to be sitting, you don't need the calories. But eating breakfast for a job like this can carry you right though to dinner. If you're hungry, for lunch have a sandwich and a piece of fruit.

Dinner is a tricky one. The idea is replacing what you've burned off through the day, which is going to be very little. When you stop for the night, WORK OUT BEFORE YOU EAT, DO NOT SKIP WORKING OUT, however you have to do it, these guys gave great ideas of how you can do it with a truck. Then after you're done, have a good dinner. A lean meat (As great as steak tastes, it's going to make you fat in trucking), vegetable side. For any starches, have self control. If you're losing weight, you want as close to none as possible. If you're just trying to stay in shape, you need it, but not in excess. Basically, only about 1/2 of a baked potato. Basically, you're aiming for higher protein and lower fat, calorie and carb. Your calories will depend on your breakfast. They're kind of your body's fuel, eggs are great for that, that's why I recommended omelets. But if you could only get a small breakfast, make sure the calories you take in agree with the exercise you do. If you're burning off more than you take in, you're going to lose weight to the point of being unhealthy, you gotta find that balance.

If you're craving something sweet, go for an apple, or banana. When you're sitting in the truck or the truck stop watching TV, eat some grapes instead of chips or popcorn.

Drinks.... Water. Grab a few lemons, and put a lemon in if you don't like the taste of plain water. If you HAVE to have something with real flavor to it, go for unsweetened iced tea (preferably from your own tea bag, not a mix or fountain (a box is only $1), and squeeze a slice of lemon in it so it's not bitter.
