Here's a little insightful look at my last day...Tuesday....I had a broker call me three times coz my dm didn't email or call him to accept a 2600 rate con,lol.....the only thing I asked my dm to do was make sure I was dispatched so I could get fuel....7am fuel card no worky...x3 calls to eagle no answeree....put fuel in with my debit card....no explaination as of yet what happened... I let boy wonder dm load me (to prove the point he doesn't know what he is doing)Friday thru Monday...got to load and unload 6 times in three days and was late 3 times!......fun! About seven hundred dh miles and probably zero on my paycheck...but I sure showed him right!! Lol

    Ps...there's your weekly wrap up....enjoy

So what's the game plan? I would have walked on that fuel card issue.

Those are my only two issues so far. We've also been flagged with a couple brokerages because rate cons take for friggin ever. Only a matter of time before these DM's alienate all the good brokers. I don't see why we need the DM's. We should be able to do rate cons ourselves.

This fuel card issue has also got to change. The problem is they shut them off after we complete each load. If a company can't trust their drivers, it's probably because they know the drivers can't trust them. Smh.

That's it, the good brokers will be gone, and then we will have to totally depend on our DM's for loads, and at that point, what will be the difference between us and Celadon's company drivers who have to depend on a DM for loads, one thing, we pay all the expenses with the truck, they don't.

It absolutely is an Eagle company. Actually, it's owned by Celadon as you all know. I called this "Liberty Fleet" to get more info a few days ago and the lady who answered recognized my number on the caller ID (since I have been dealing with Eagle recruiters). Before I could get another word out she says, "Oh hold on let me transfer you to Christine, she's your recruiter." Unreal.

Apparently it's a spin-off division ran by Eagle that gives felons a second chance.
