Canadian good and bad trucking companies

Morrice Transportation, based in Windsor, ON has daily deliveries to Winnipeg. Good company to deal with.

 

Every guy I have talked with who works at t d Smith seems to really like the company.never heard a driver bad mouth them.

 

I heard they are a Russian outfit. They pay well- $0.55, but they run paper logs and will ask you to cheat on them.

 

The pay is good but they run loose leaf for a reason. Lots of NJ. There trailers are all keept in good shape. But you are expected to do anything they ask including load scaling and spotting someone else load or loads at one of the chemical plants . Each load can take up to 3 hours and you have to stay hooked up with it as it loaded. Don't dare to ask for compensation as the chemical dispatcher will freak out. They do pay well but want you to be creative with your book and run flat out. I was just not in to running tired all the time because its work all day and run all night.

 

Any one know t-lane base in mission B.C?

 

Has anyone ever had any experience with pauls hauling out of brandon mb? Good or bad id like some opinions!

 

I did hear a negative opinion of the outfit about a year ago on some other trucking forum. The person was a company driver and was compiling about being forced to fluff the log book and stuff. Can't rember the web site. Pm "prairie boy" he is from the west and might know more about theme.

 

Paul's is a very good company to work for. Started by Paul Albrechtsen in the 1950's and still around if that tells you something.

 

I'm looking to find out more about TST Truckload - They have a new pay package for Brokers but couldn't find anything on here about them... Anything on them?

 

my dog loves the truck and I do make sure he gets good food and lots of exercise. I work at a sit company right now in Vancouver if I could find a better one that allows pets I'd move there tomorrow. if you know of one get back to me
