I applied to only one. I had a decent job already and decided not to go for anything other than my top choice. If they weren't interested I didn't lose anything. I did pester them a lot after I turned in my app so I didn't get lost in the shuffle. I called the HR rep at least once a week to check on the status of my application.
Apply to all or hold out for one?? ltl

The only reason im working at my current job is because they were the first place i applied and they called me the next day

Dayton or Od? Pay and benefits differences?
-
About half these outfits are union. That's a make-or-break for some folks in one way or the other. If it matters:
Union:
UPSF
ABF
Holland
YRC
Non-union:
Saia
ODFL
Estes
R+L
FedEx Freight
If you're that on the fence, this might help you decide, or at least eliminate some choices. -
id cross yrc off the list 18 to start 25 a year for pension

I have big hopes for dayton. Had interview went well and received an email said the TM and his boss were going to discuss me tmrw.
-
Congratulations with the interview.
The TM and his boss isn't discussing anything. It's a holiday weekend brother.

I would suggest Estes, Old Dominion, or R+L.
Conway uses nanny cams, and Fedex is too micromanaging IMO. -
OD has cams too and they can tell if your speeding in a speed zone. It's if safety guy is looking or not.
-
OD doesn't have driver facing cams, if that's what you're referring to. The EOBR does record speed, but it doesn't send a report to Safety unless you hit 10 over. Trucks are governed 65, so most of the speeding would be done on secondary roads. Who goes 10 over in town and doesn't expect a ticket?
