Not a tool, but husband has always carried extra mudflaps which can be used as floor mats until needed, or zip tied to the back of the tractor if you have a place to hook them to. and of course zip ties for mudflap in case of an emergency fix.
Extra lightbulbs, some which maybe able to be bought at Walmart. -
Besides standard tools for most of any problems.
A code reader for plugging into the truck CPU to check and clear the codes that pop up.
You would be very surprised what per programed codes pop up and once you cleared them.
The truck works fine with no problems at all.
Love to put my hands around the neck of the @#$%£¢ idiot who made this electronic junk.thetinytrucker Thanks this. -
Crowbar, duct tape, bungee cords, extra canned food, bag of quarters for when you get snowed in at a rest stop, 3 blankets.
Crowbar should be secured to your seat so you can access it to break your window or pry your door open following a crash.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Being in Montana, I carry a Mr Buddy heater and 2 tanks for it. I WILL be warm until help arrives.

I prefer butt scratchers and monoculars.
The disputes continue. -
no I carry camo gorilla duck tape and super glue for any scratches dings or stab I get

Definitely a track shovel, among the things everyone else has mentioned.

Cell phone should have both AC/DC charging capability, some plugs have both. Never know when you'll be stranded in a hotel or an International Truck waiting room.
I tried to smash my trucks side window (not at Poly) with a baby sledge. I couldn't break it no matter how hard I hit it. It was a Cascadia. I ended up having to call a locksmith and was late delivering.
I think the sledge didn't work because its surface was flat. Maybe I should have hit the window at an angle.
There've been many cases where ammunition will ricochet off a side window (depending on the angle).
Cops also (sometimes) have trouble shooting through windshields with hollow points. The h.p.'s sometimes spread out and dissipate their energy before going through the glass and just fragment away from the windshield.
You guys all know that ACE Hardware has key blanks for all big rigs, right? They have the blanks with the plastic and the ones without the plastic. They also sell the magnetic key boxes in a large enough size for the truck keys.
Problem is, those key boxes sometimes fall apart. I keep mine on the side of the radiator low to the frame so it won't fall off.NavigatorWife Thanks this.
