As memorial day comes upon us Id like us to reflect on some of our musicians that have past away. As people who posses the talent so culturally inriched to provide such a form of art have not only become entertainers providing music, but have become the torch barres in our society that portray the attitudes and opinions that we carry through out our daily lives/
As members of the forum and obviously people of musical interest ,. Id like to ask you guys who also enjoy the talent these musicians provide. Id like for us take a little time out to reflect on some of our country's past time musical entertainers who have past away. .
.. Id like to start with Adam Youch the Co founder of the Beastie Boys AKA MCA. The MC meaning microphone conductor, the A for Adam.
One of the most shocking things they were known for is how they transformed from being one of New York's most hardcore punk bands into three young fools who'd come to perform Rap music.
For the most part rap was a hole different type of music all together. Different in nature, But Rap would also be known as a music known to be pretty profound as well as far as expression goes. It would be known as the music expressing the views of the repressed, those caught up in today's struggle and the profound expressions of those exploiting the situation into a gangster paradise.
the transformation to becoming a rap group.
This is just one of manny of our great musicians that have freakishly past away especially from those performing modern day music representing the views of the young and vibrant. I would like you guys to also post some of our musicians that have past away rather it be 2Poc, Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Sid Viscous or who ever else have been a part of our cultural past time. ''Beastie Boys - Some Old ########
This is one of there more musical rap songs, its kinda of a musical master piece check it out
I'd like to remind you guys that the B Boys were actually musicians and when they did do there instrumentals, they got down.
Idon't think there will ever be a fourth b boy as a mater a fact I know there wont, they were just to tightly bonded.
I'd like to take the time out and pay homage to the pioneers of not only white rap but rap as it became to be. A big shout out to the Three, DJ hurricane, Mar=Bell, the House of Pain, Bad Brains, the Big Biz. and all those who helped perform in the shoes .. OG Run DMC, Public Enemy. And all the rest that were around wen it was happening. As they have paved the way for many others. This next song is dedicated to Adam Youtch. A.K.A. MCA , may he rest in peace, a big shout out to Mix Master Mike, king Ad Rock, and O.G. Mike D. here goes one from our second generation white guys that be throughing down with that funky sound.
here goes one more for the man I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
