Well I did a search and found that he is indeed a car hauling company, and he has at the very least 2 pics of the driver's truck. One in which he says something like, "Dave takes pride in his ride" as it shows highly polished wheels and fancy lug nuts, then in another pic, he has a pic of the guys truck loaded with Dodge pick up trucks.

Seems to me if he was really upset with the former driver, those pics would have been taken down..???????

BUT ever more so important.

The o/p of this thread NEVER mentioned the company name! (at least, not here) and WHY bring up a dead thread???????

 

I thought Dave was a couch potato...can't have pride in your ride if you like the couch.

 

I am sure something happened way back then. As someone once said, there are 3 sides to every story, his side, the other side, and the truth.

I find it hilarious the "owner" has come here and brought up a dead thread. This happens from time to time of course, but to ask for a thread to be removed for negative comments?

I discovered it this morning when I did a Goggle seach of my company with my company name prominately posted. I had no clue that this was even out there as I am a new member to this site. I guess it is easier to tell a series of lies and to have it posted for the world to see than it is to have a set and speak to me like a man. David did a great job up and until the point where he started to slack off and become noresponsive to my phone calls. I am no expert, but if you don't do the job as you are instructed you become the source of tension, what do you expect from your boss? I'm just a small business guy trying to make it through this world and have to deal with this is an inconveinance. You are probobly right I should have let the sleeping dog lay...

Well when I first did MY google search (using the name YOU provided earlier) I can assure you that there were no bad reviews of your company by name. I just have done 3 more searches, and I get the same results, your facebook page, nothing else. Not even as I have said, did he ever mention you in his thread.

So please show/provide me with a link to what you found regarding this negative thread about you?

As said there is more than one side to a story, he told his, and you told yours. Some where there is a story about what really happened.

I think that right now, He is more closer to telling the truth. You never mention if you tried to intervene with him to help smooth out any differences.

Please provide the actual google link you claim you found, otherwise you have nothing to really say at this point.

Without a doubt, we ALL know that happens. He (the o/p) claims a buddy of his at the same company was shafted out of $6,000.

I dunno, if there was no truth in his buddy being shafted, why did he say it?

Of course there could also be a typo in the amount due the buddy, maybe only $600?

Yes, fabrication, stretching, bending, coloring things in a different light often happens. Which is why I said there are 3 sides to every story, his/his/and the truth. Apparently, the owner chose NOT to elaborate any further.

As a result of that, I'll side a little more to the former employee at this time.

As me being a long time company employee, is the way I'd look at it at this time.

If you are an o/o, (one truck) then you might have a different opinion, no doubt.

If you are an company owner (with several drivers and trucks) then too, you'd look at this situation differently as well.
