I kinda miss the ole truck stop cb squabblin

Sometimes I'll notice that I left my radio on all night and was never woken up. Sad.

 

Now ain't that the truth!!

 

There are always pin heads like that around, one just has to learn to ignore them. I really enjoy my CB when I'm on the road. Not only is it helpful in finding out what's up ahead of me but occasionally there are some really good conversations going on.

 

That's not common at all.

And I got a good belly-laugh out of that. YMMV.

 

I can understand. I won't say that's all you'll hear on the CB.

Of course I always get a gut busting laugh out of that video, hearing those two go at it like children.

Had my first CB experience this past week while riding with my trainer. I got roasted the first time I tried to back into a space in a truck stop. Noticed that it was a useful tool, when used properly, to warn of upcoming slow downs/accidents but mostly got the impression that it was a means for a couple of truckers to vent their frustrations at each other. Not sure if I'll get a CB when I get my own truck after training...

Get the CB and do more listening than talking for awhile.

 

Lots more conversation to be had recently on CH19 as the S9+++ of skip trash has been eliminated by lack of solar activity.... thank god!
