Yep, just leave your tactical bag at the guard shack and pick it up on your way out..

 

I carried mine every where it was legal. Did I advertise , no never. Never had a single issue. Good point about not subsidizing a business that wants to restrict your right to carry.

 

Military bases, border check points, and shipping terminals are all places where you are subject to search.

Besides, the real point I was making is that carrying a gun into a place that doesn't allow them can cost you your job and even your career. Don't be stupid and take an unnecessary risk.

 

I haven't read all the replies so this may be a duplicate. It is my understanding carrying in a CMV is illegal

 

The same law applies to CCW in a CMV as does in a POV. As long as you follow the state you are traveling in concealed carry laws and your CCW is valid within said state, you are fine. Get two lock boxes and place your weapon and ammo seperate from each other in those states that do not just to be safe. The Feds leave it to the states to determine this. Of course, if your company policy states that you are not allowed to, you are putting yourself at risk for termination of employment. That is the risk you have to decide to take. Your sleeper is essentially your home while on the road so no one has a right to go into your home while on the road. The cab is a different story though. DOT can look in your cab if they wish but must have a warrant to search through your sleeper berth.

I never carry in my truck since I travel to liberal cities where only criminals have guns.

 

why you need conceal and carry for by the time you relize whats going on its a good chance your too late i was at my friends house when two guys broke in drunk sleeping luckly they were weak and didnt shoot i was able to disable both of them and hold them till police came my bu7ddy wasnt as furante they knocked him out with the gun
