Cdl permit renewal

    Can anyone tell me if you can renew an Ohio Cdl permit? I looked on Ohio BMV website and couldn't find any info. I am starting school end of June for 3 weeks then going out with trainer. My permit is good til first week of September. I am worried about running close on expiration date and not being able to get another permit if needed.

    No you can't renew an OHIO CDL learners permit you need to retake all test ,all over agin.

    Been there done that in Ohio you have to retake the permit test.

    You shouldn't need to renew it.
    You should be able to take the road test for you full CDL at the end of school.

    True really anyone can take the road test any time they think there ready and have to funds and proper vehicle.
