Got a problem with my truck. Truck lost power in Sidney, NE ( we are based in New Jersey). Driver could not go more than 30 miles per hour. Somehow he got to Floyd's Truck Center. They yesterday replaces EGR Valve ( payed $ 2,000), still truck can not go over 30 mph. Today they ordered Turbocharger
(another $ 3,700). Tomorrow should get it and install. My mechanic from NJ saying that this loss of power has nothing to do with turbo. He said that they should replace fuel filter and check power divider. I have no idea if that turbocharger gonna help. No sleep this night. If someone had similar problem , please let me know what fixing options are possible. Thanks!!!

That $3700 turbo better be gold plated!!! I paid $800 for one a couple years ago and $100 to put it in with my help.

Exactly, they know that I have no choice. Can't go on the road 30 mph. I am more than sure that this new turbocharger not gonna fix a problem. I keep asking them to change fuel filter and they keep ignoring me. Just pumping out money from my credit card :-(

every time when I take I-80 I pray. Jesus if something will happen to the truck let it happen in Omaha or Salt Lake area.
now I think you have issues with fuel system or bad/cracked CAC.

I know ... looks like I have bobo in my head .... I must deliver the load to Victor, ID ( suppose to deliver on Monday) today already Wednesday, broker eating me up over the phone. If I will tell them don't put turbocharger on , they are not gonna put it. Truck gonna stand there another day. I'm now thinking what if it is turbocharger problem. I am trying everything... I know that they can replace half of truck guessing what causing this power loss. I JUST WANT TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD ...
