Doesn't look too terrible from the air. But it's sort of like the newnan, ga pilot

Edit: ...Jesus. Never mind. At its widest points it's 550ft x 600ft. Yeah, okay the guy that designed is an idiot. Just looked at the closed one in Atlanta, 400x 375ft.

I have been to even smaller ones, but the one I'm thinking of was designed with no parking at all. So I don't think it counts. Had a delivery nearby, so I opted for a shower on my 30. One shower, had to park out beside the pilot sign, and it still had a key to get into the shower.

I'd be staying away from the one you pointed out though. Yeesh...

LOL...if you guys are talking about the Pilot in Hampton, NJ that is exit 12 off I-78...grow a sack for that Pilot all though small and congested is not hard to manage and IF spots are open they are easy to get into. best bet is just get your fuel there and park at Clinton's that is just 1/2mi up the road.

High volume traffic. 30 min wait or more to fuel. No thanks.

Newnan, ga (i85 exit 41) can be just as bad. And they've got 8 or 9 pumps.

majority of the pilots in NorthEast are going to be just the same. the pilot in CT (I-95 x40) or MA (I-84 x1) are even worse and they are actually somewhat large. but go to the TA that is like 15mi from either one and you are in and out...

Speaking of colostomy bags, I just delivered to the Home Depot DC in Monroe, OH last night and noticed that the guard shack window was complete bashed in and shattered. I joked to the guard "looks like someone got upset". She laughed and stated that some driver on Monday night was asked to provide his drivers license but he refused. They said he couldn't enter the yard without one. He got upset and told them no. He then said he needed to turn around and leave because he wasn't going to release the load to them. The guard refused to let him turn around on their yard as you need a drivers license to get past the gate. The guy flipped out, pulled out a metal pipe and bashed in the window with it. I told the guard to watch out for us crazy drivers in the future.

And sorry to disappoint you DFO, this didn't happen at Lake Park, GA when some driver decided to park in the cross walk then flipped out when the guards made him back up 2 inches.

While we were on really crappy pilots, go check out the pilot off i77 & i85 in Charlotte, nc.

There's an oc nearby here, I know. But this is still listed as the fuel stop, plus I want my points. (Probably shouldn't complain too much... Since I have the option.)

At least in atlanta, the oc replaces the ####ty pilot nearby. Here? Not a chance...

Been here every time I come this way. So to the colostomy bag that built this pilot, the one that marked it as a fuel stop, and the one that won't change it to the Charlotte oc...

    Here's your colostomy bag:

    image.jpg

Not so bad in the overhead photo, but at its widest points, it's only 375ft x 380ft. (According to the scale on google maps.)

    image.jpg

It's been out in the street every time I come through...

    image.jpg

    It is a literal fustercluck.

As a side note, now that I know where the Charlotte oc is...I'll just go there.

Why anybody would go to that pilot even if it's showing as your fuel stop is beyond me. That dollar whatever you're getting on your card doesn't make up for the aggravation. I always avoid those mini-pilots.

I'm not after the dollar in points, rather the 15$ reward for fueling...

    I'm a cheapskate. It's okay. :D
